Dear Kellogg Community,
A number of students received a phishing message this morning claiming to be from the Sovereign Bank, with “Comfirm;” as the subject. We are continuing to analyze the message. We want to remind everyone to be wary of messages that claim to require urgent
action or messages that request confidential information via email.
If you replied to this message or have noticed anything strange on your computer today, please contact KIS as soon as possible.
We would like to thank the many members of the community who reported receiving this message.
Please remember to call or email KIS whenever you see a message you think may be phishing.
In the future
we encourage you to report any fraudulent messages to your support desk. You can find more information on
Identifying and Avoiding Phishing Messages in the KIS Knowledge Base.
