All Kellogg classrooms are outfitted with technology solutions, designed to help Kellogg constituents to present material in an engaging way.

With the goal of helping Kellogg faculty to present course work to constituents in an engaging way, all Kellogg classrooms are outfitted with audio/visual equipment (see details below). Each classroom is managed by a Creston Control Panel. The Creston's intuitive interface makes it an easy-to-use tool to administer the lights, projector, screen, and sound from the classroom podium.
In addition to showing computer-based presentations, DVD and VHS material can also be displayed. Additional technology is available for use in the classrooms upon request, such as document and overhead projectors, microphones, and laptops for presentations.
The following equipment is installed and pre-configured in Kellogg classrooms:
Creston Control Panel: Manages the classroom’s lighting, projector, screen, and audio from the classroom podium.
DVD/VCR Combo Units: Plays DVDs or VHS tapes on the projection screen.
Projector & Electric Screen: Electric drop-down screen and projector allow sharing your laptop screen to the class.
Audio System & Microphone Connectivity: The audio system and available wireless microphone(s) allow presenters to amplify their voice and present audio material to the entire room. All of our classrooms are equipped with wireless receivers (except rooms G36, 166 and 165). Each receiver is uniquely paired with its own wireless microphone to prevent any possible interference from neighboring classrooms. Microphones must be requested by contacting KISin advance.
Overhead Projector: Overhead projectors are available in most rooms to supplement the use of existing transparencies.
Power & Network jacks: Jacks are located at each seat in a most Kellogg classrooms to provide AC power and Ethernet to your devices.
Wireless connectivity: Wireless connectivity is available in all classrooms and throughout each building. The classroom is outfitted with wireless network base stations that let constituents connect to the wireless network. Guests and visitors may borrow an Ethernet cable from the KIS FaStCATS for network access.
To ensure the classroom technology works effectively, KIS performs regular repairs and maintenance for the A/V equipment including; cleaning projector lenses, replacing projector filters, and changing projector bulbs. If the audio/visual equipment is not performing as expected please contact KIS.
